Cinnamon Peach slice
Ingredients
- 125g butter
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup plain flour
- 1/2 cup self raising flour
- 1ts cinnamon
- 425g canned peach slices, drained
- 3tbs condensed milk
- 2tbs flaked almonds
- 1/4ts cinnamon, extra
- whipped cream or ice cream
Method
- Cream butter and sugar,
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition
- Fold in sifted flours and cinnamon
- Line 18cmx28cm lamington pan with baking paper
- Spread mixture over the pan and arrange peaches on top
- Drizzle the condensed milk over top
- Sprinkle with almond and extra cinnamon
- Bake in 180C oven for 35-40 minutes until golden.
- Slice and serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream
