Fish Pie

Brenda’s recipe!


  • 2 cans smoked fish (or the real thing)
  • 4 hard boiled eggs, quartered
  • Cooked peas and corn
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • Parsley
  • Cheese
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Mashed potato (optional)


  • Melt butter, take off heat, stir in flour then milk. Heat and thicken the mixture
  • Add parsley, turn down heat, add fish, peas and corn
  • Carefully fold in eggs
  • Put into a flat dish and top with mashed potato (optionally), grated cheese and breadcrumbs
  • Reheat in the oven and grill the top
