Commands Which Channel Ops Should Know

Chanserv commands on Linuxchix channels

 /msg chanserv op #channelname nick

when leaving or idling,

 /deop

list of ops in a channel:

 /msg chanserv access #channelname list

IRC commands:

set topic

 /TOPIC #channelname Topic

set mode

#channel is optional IN the channel:

 /MODE +s - secret, +p - private, +t - topic control (ops only), +n - no outside msg, +l 20 - limited to 20

 /MODE +m - moderated; only ops and voiced can speak, +v - voice, -v - unvoice

 /MODE #channel +o nick - channel ops, +i - invite-only; to invite: /INVITE nick #channel

 /mode #channel +k passwordkey ( /mode #channelname +k password ) - passworded

 /MODE #demo +b - checks who is banned; 

 /MODE #demo +b *!*abcd@dialup*.provider.com [nick!user@host] from /WHOIS - do ban first, THEN kick - 

 /KICK nickname [optional reason]
